The Boots

Today I put on the new pair of boots I bought her at Old Navy yesterday. They're very light pink suede with butterflies on the outside. They have fuzzy material inside and are nice & warm. I love them, and I brought them out to the living room and started to put them on.
*gasp*"MOMMY! BOOTS!!"
"Yes, baby. What's on them?"
"Butterflies!!" she sang...
"Yes, do you like them?"
"YES!! My Daddy brought them for me." She told me that several times, so I'm letting her think Daddy bought them, and told her how much Daddy loves her.
She had a sweet little pout, and said, "Yeah. He misses you very much."
