Update

First of all, Bo Sox just tied up the series.. that's CRAZY! What a bunch of great games I've been watching. Playoffs are always better than the series. Anyway...

Mia is 38" tall which puts her at the 75th percentile, and THEY said she's 38 lbs (I think she's around 36. She fidgeted and was totally clothed on the scale) which puts her at the 95th percentile. Despite her picky eating habits, she was always a big girl. I think it's mostly her big melon and strong muscles! She was a real angel at the doctor today, who was running quite late due to a walk-in for immunizations... hello!! THAT person should've had to wait. So Mia got 2 shots; the flu shot (I asked... and since Craig is gone, the last thing I need is for both of us to be seriously ill) and the PCV shot:

The pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV) protects against pneumococcal infections. The bacterium is the leading cause of serious infections including pneumonia, blood infections, and bacterial meningitis.

Point being she cried for 10 seconds, and then was totally fine. Thank goodness. She's amazing. She'll freaking potty train when she's ready, it's so not something I can force her to do.

So funny little story, then I'm off to bed to listen to the rain hitting the roof (ah, wonderful)... Mia has a Fisher Price Little People Noah's Ark- it's adorable, Craig's mom got it for her with the extra sets of animals, so she has ALL the animals. It's been in her room sitting next to her toy chest for months. Just the other day, she picked it up and brought it to the living room and started to play with it.

The next morning, the rain started. It has not stopped since that morning, and isn't due to stop until FRIDAY! How strange is that? So this morning, I told Craig about my observation, and he said, "Well, you know how Jesus was the son of God? Maybe Mia is the DAUGHTER of God..."

I replied, "Well... SHE certainly thinks so."
