HILARIOUS!

Ok, so I can't believe I forgot to tell Craig this story too... it was so funny!! Yesterday we were bored. Les, Wendi & Jake were sick, so was Michelle, everyone else wasn't around. So I took Mia to the mall in UTC and then afterward I asked if she wanted to go to a playground. it was GORGEOUS outside, so why not? Of course she wholeheartedly said YES.

We went to a great playground near Les & Wendi's house that she'd shown me. There's a metal play structure that is like a little pretend car. Back seat, front seat, and 2 steering wheels in the front. We get to the playground and Mia heads STRAIGHT for the car. Bear in mind that this story will ring true for those of you who know our afternoon routine; I pick her up from daycare with a snack & something to drink for the ride home.)

She runs toward the car, "YOU sit in the back, Mommy!"
"Ok."
She slides into the "driver's" seat, "clicks" her seat belt and tells me to do mine. Nice.
I'm sitting behind her.
"Ok, Mommy, do you want some juice?"
"um... sure."
She reaches in front of her and pretends to get juice and hand it back to me in the back seat.
"Ok, do you want goldfishies or pretzels?"
"Goldfishies please," I said, stifling major hysterics. This was totally Mia doing ME.
She passes back the bag of goldfishies. "....what do you saaaaaay???"
That's it, I almost fell off my seat laughing. "Thank you!"
"You're welcome."
They say this is the age where they pretend... this is more like the age where they do impressions! That girl even gave ME a time out the other day! What a character.
